Old people dig Facebook, too
As recently as late May, The Browser’s Fortune colleague Adam Lashinsky posed the question in his must-read Go West blog: Will anyone over 25 really embrace Facebook, the social networking site that began life as a way for college students to communicate with each other? This was on the heels of Facebook’s announcement that it was opening itself up to programmers and innovators of all kind. Lashinsky wrote: “My hunch is that adults are finding out about Facebook and then inviting everybody they can think of. But will they actually visit the site and see who is ‘poking’ them? I seriously doubt it.”
